    Reports To: Elisha Keaton, Monz Boys, or Dennis Bramlett/Benjamin Nicholson
    Employment Type: Apprenticeship, Full-Time

    Position Overview:

    We are seeking an Apprentice Plumber to join our team! The selected individual will assist in the installing and repair of water supply lines and drainage systems including construction of plumbing systems, installation and replacement of fixtures through use of plumber’s hand -tools and power tools, all in conformity to local building codes and regulations.

    Responsibilities:

    Assemble and install plumbing systems including the various components, styles of threading, and materials (brass, copper, plastic, lead, and glass).
    Troubleshoot and repair pipe and pipeline systems
    Review, comprehend, implement plans based on blueprints and building codes to determine optimal work procedures. These include proper and scaled orientations of components, use of correct materials, and proper implementation of procedures for both new installs and renovated systems: threading, caulking, wiping, soldering, brazening, fusing, cementing and securing with clamps, brackets, and hangers.
    Maintain and repair septic and commercial sewer systems
    Prepare written work cost estimates for clients
    Adhere to safety policies and procedures
    Testing and Gauging pressure for indications of leaks or blockages.
    Detection and response to problematic or dangerous conditions and situations.
    ​Qualifications:

    Previous experience in plumbing, maintenance, or other related field
    Ability to read blueprints and schematics
    Ability to handle physical workload
    Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    Pay: $17-21/hour
