NEMS Girls Construction Camp

2026 FORGE NEMS Girls Construction Camp

The FORGE NEMS Girls Construction Camp is a one-of-a-kind, hands-on experience designed to introduce girls to the exciting world of construction while building confidence, skills, and connections. Through interactive workshops, real-world activities, and mentorship from industry professionals, participants will explore a variety of trades—including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and roofing.

Whether you’re just curious or already interested in construction, this camp creates a space to try new things, learn by doing, and discover what’s possible. Along the way, campers will gain valuable life skills, make meaningful connections, and begin to see themselves as future leaders and builders.

Don’t miss this opportunity to step outside your comfort zone, explore new possibilities, and start building your future with FORGE NEMS Girls Construction Camp.

Proudly Supported by LEAD

We are incredibly grateful to LEAD (Lee County Empowering, Advancing, and Developing) for supporting the 2026 FORGE NEMS BuildHER Girls Construction Camp through a generous $5,000 grant. Their investment helps make this empowering experience possible for young women across North Mississippi.

LEAD, the Tupelo/Lee County affiliate of the CREATE Foundation, is dedicated to strengthening communities by investing in initiatives that promote growth, opportunity, and long-term impact. Through their support of BuildHER, they are helping expand access to hands-on experiences, mentorship, and career exploration in the skilled trades.

Together, we are doing more than introducing construction—we are building confidence, expanding possibilities, and empowering the next generation of female leaders.

Thank you, LEAD, for helping us inspire girls to believe in themselves and build their futures!
