  • Civil Engineer Assistant
    Description

                    •              Assist in the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects focusing on concrete and industrial maintenance.

                    •              Work under the guidance of senior leadership and project managers to understand project requirements and objectives.

                    •              Conduct site inspections and collect data to ensure project compliance with specifications, codes, and safety standards.

                    •              Prepare and review technical reports, drawings, and documentation related to project progress and outcomes.

                    •              Collaborate with construction teams, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project timelines and goals are met.

                    •              Participate in meetings and training sessions to improve technical and language skills.

                    •              Monitor and participate in on-site activities, ensuring adherence to project plans and safety protocols.

                    •              Assist in troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise during the project lifecycle.

                    •              Support the preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and schedules for project activities.

    We require that individuals who work in this position possess, at a minimum, a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or its equivalent and basic knowledge of concrete and industrial maintenance principles and practices with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD). Bi-lingual requested but not required.

    Other valuable skills:

    • Develop and implement concrete mix designs tailored to withstand seismic and vibrational stresses.
    • Ensure all seismic concrete applications meet regulatory and structural requirements.
    • Collaborate with project managers and site teams to oversee concrete pour and curing processes for seismic integrity.
    • Troubleshoot issues related to concrete mix performance and recommend solutions for optimal results.
